Christmas Card

By now you've received your Christmas Card from us with the cute picture of Laura and her hot chocolate at Starbucks. And if you haven't, then who are you, and why are you reading this blog?

We did not include a long letter with minute detail about our comings and goings this year, because really, who cares about that stuff? Well, you, obviously, since you're reading our blog.

Tom fulfilled a life-long dream when he was accepted in NASA's astronaut training program. He went into space on the space shuttle Endeavor in March, making some much-needed repairs to the International Space Station and becoming the first person to play a French Horn in space.

Sally's writing career has really taken off; her latest book spent 12 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, and her agent says Oprah will feature it in her book club after the first of the year.

Laura won the national spelling bee, shocking the nation by beating some home-schooled kid live on ESPN by correctly spelling Boodleheimer.

So that's it. All in all we had a pretty average year. Maybe 2008 will bring new adventures with the arrival with our new baby.

Merry Christmas!
