What We Did on Our February Vacation

Since Australia Camp was a smashing success, we did an Around the World Camp during February Break. The country was a surprise each morning (except the morning when Laura peeked.) We updated our chart, colored our world map, colored a flag, and read a few books about each country.

Day 3-Portugal

Food-Portuguese Pastries and Bolos
Activity-Going to the Portuguese Bakery

Day 4-Ireland
Craft-Celtic Knot Perler Beads
Food-Irish Soda Bread and Shepherd's Pie
Activity-Watching Lord of the Dance (and iceskating)

Day 5-Sweden
Craft-Dala Horses
Food-Dala Horse Shaped Cake, Swedish Meatballs, Lingonberry Juice
