Today we went to Fort McHenry with Sally's brother and his family. The kids got to hold a full-size replica of the famous flag, and they also got to see a cannon fired. It would have been more interesting if they had actually used a cannonball, but at least the gunpowder was sufficiently loud. Tomorrow it's the Washington Monument.
