Then they discovered how much fun it is to climb on real rock walls.
Even Sally and Alexander got in on the fun.
Later we drove to Denver and made use of our reciprocal membership at the Children's Museum. The girls loved playing on the fire truck and in the pretend Whole Foods. Just to keep the fun going, we took them to Whole Foods tonight to eat dinner.

Tomorrow we will be up early to return the car and fly home. Sally is not ready to leave the mountains, but our suitcases are full of dirty clothes, and the kids really need to get back to their usual routines. Despite the fevers, sleepless nights, and temper tantrums, our first non-government-subsidized vacation was a huge success. And I'm sure we'll be ready to do this again in another 10 years.

I've loved reading all the vacation re-caps! Very fun (except for all the sickness...)!
Thanks! I really just wrote it so we could have something to remember the trip by (also we couldn't watch TV after the kids went to bed, so I needed something to do:)
